Malik Parker-Hill

AKA, BLENDZEL WASHINGTON

With over two decades in the barbering industry, Malik Parker-Hill has built a career rooted in expertise, education, and innovation. As a master barber, instructor, and cranial prosthesis pioneer, he has dedicated himself to both perfecting his craft and sharing his knowledge, having graduated over 200 students in his role as a barber educator.

A specialist in hair restoration for Black men, Malik has spent the past decade transforming lives by helping individuals regain confidence through custom hair solutions. His passion for personal grooming led him to establish Blackstar Image, a brand dedicated to restoring self-esteem for those experiencing hair loss. His innovative, non-invasive approach to cranial prosthetics has delivered life-changing results, setting new standards in quality and client satisfaction.

Beyond the chair, Malik is deeply committed to community service, particularly through youth initiatives aimed at inspiring and empowering the next generation. His journey has also taken him to Hawaii, where he’s had the honor of cutting hair for military personnel, further exemplifying his dedication to service.

As a leader in his field, Malik continues to push boundaries, mentor aspiring barbers, and redefine what’s possible in the art of hair restoration.
